Elegant Small Cakes

I’ve never done these types of small cakes before, and always wanted to try them.  It was easier than I thought but it did take some time (and some throwawaysJ) before I was happy with the end product.  I made them especially for very special friends that invited me for tea ... I think they are gorgeous ... would love to do some more!!
